Interdimensional Flight Gogglesby *CaelynTek

The scientists at the newly formed Tek University have been busy. With last year's discovery of the dimensional rifts scattered across the world, a side effect of the widespread concentrations of comet dust, a method for seeing and in some cases navigating these rifts was required. The right lens of these goggles contains a micro-mechanical focusing device and a lens infused with aetheric comet fragments. The pilot or navigator who wears these can see the dimensional rifts and can safely navigate around, or through the rifts, if he or she is crazy enough to do so.

Made from standard 50mm welding goggles, a juice bottle cap, bits from Michaels craft store and earring parts. Metallic finishes achieved using AMACO Rub N Buff.

These goggles were one of 4 pairs of goggles that I loaned to the Cincinnati Shakespeare Company [link] for use in their steampunk themed rendition of Titus Andronicus. These goggles will be for sale at my vendor table at the upcoming Steampunk Empire Symposium. [link]

I think I have three pairs of goggles left, but I'm not sure which ones. Everything is still packed up. I'll let you know once I have everything put away.
