Goggles Ver. 3 are FINISHED!
They didn't come out quite as good as I would have liked... a few mars in the finish on the "brass" parts, but they turned out pretty darn good regardless. Photos of them in the field shall come soon enough, I have a Steampunk Salon coming up this Friday.
Materials used:
Fibre-Metal Flexible-Rigid Frame Welding Goggles - Amazon.com [link]
4 PVC (plastic) pipe connectors from Home Depot, various sizes and shapes.
Hobby Town USA brand 5 minute 2-part epoxy.
Rustoleum Ultra Cover FLAT BLACK spray paint
Galeria Raw Umber Acrylic Paint
AMACO Rub-n-Buff (Antique Gold)
Testors Semi-Gloss Clear Coat Spray

I've been trying to get the same texture/colour for a while now with no luck, if it's alright of me to ask, what order did you paint the layers in?
