TANC - Tek Armory Noisy Cricket by CaelynTek TANC - Tek Armory Noisy Cricket by CaelynTek
For those situations when a large gun is simply not practical, the Clan of Teks recommends the latest in personal protection, cause there's always room for a TANC! The Tek Armory Noisy Cricket is small enough to fit in any pocket or purse. It can be tucked into any number of places in your wardrobe.

When coupled with the Tek Armory Targeting Goggles (Not included) it can be very accurate indeed.

This is a NERF JOLT that has had no mods other than filing and sanding of logos and safety markings. It is actually one of the most powerful NERF micro dart guns I've ever used.

OMG the Noisy Cricket!  I never laughed so hard in my LIFE til J fired his "Noisy Cricket" that K had given him.  LOL

How do you paint around the trigger area?

Very Carefully? :)

Seriously though, the whole thing was originally primed in black, then I used the rub-n-buff product to add the metallics. For the trigger I used the silverflake, with just a tiny bit of the rub-n-buff on my finger, rubbing it on carefully, as best I could without getting any of the silver on the rest of the gun. Then I used a stiff small brush to apply more silverflake rub-n-buff to get into the cracks around where the trigger interfaces with the frame.

I'm used to painting tiny game miniatures, so for me, this kind of detail work is relatively easy.

I paint minis too. Just trying to gauge how different from that it would be.  Thanks

The JOLT is really that strong? That's probably because it's so small that there's no room for any redundancies like most other NERF guns, it's just a plunger, a trigger and a barrel.
You should look at their new TRIAD EX-3. It's a lot like the JOLT (I assume) except it has three barrels. I'd also recommend the BARREL BREAK, which is a shot gun!

I already have a Triad EX-3. I'm currently working on a new Rough Cut that holds 8 darts and shoots 2 at a time.

Excellent is there any chance that you would sell this?

This particular one has already been sold. But I'll likely be making a couple more in preparation for vending at the Steampunk Empire Symposium.[link]
