Deviation Actions
At the end of April I'll be traveling back to my old city of Cincinnati, to attend the International Steampunk Symposium. But before then I'm working on one last project: A set of "NERF" dueling pistols to enter into the NERF duel competition. (NERF is in parentheses because they aren't NERF branded.) I'll try to get pictures of them up on DA before I leave, I don't know yet how soon I'll be done with them.
Devious Journal Entry
So I've made a LOT of goggles. Like a LOT. More than I've shared on here to be sure. They usually sell pretty quick when I get a chance to vend somewhere, but they are slow to sell on Etsy. Probably just that whole "I want to handle them before I buy them" thing? Anyway, so I have a few more pairs that I finished recently, and I've been debating whether to share them cause I figure you all are tired of seeing them. Should I share them or shouldn't I? Should I always share my goggles projects with Deviantart? Let me know what you think.
My Steampunk Blaster Tutorial Video
Hi everyone,
I know a lot of you follow me because you like how I often explain how I've made my guns or goggles, and give materials lists. Well this week I did something I've been meaning to do forever. I made a set of Youtube tutorials covering my entire process for making/painting a Steampunk blaster. I literally videod EVERY part of the process from just out of the package to finished. If you REALLY want to see what it takes to make what I make, these videos will show you.

I'll soon be submitting a deviation with the blaster I cre
Richmond Steampunk Society
The newly founded "Richmond Steampunk Society" in Richmond, Virginia have taken it upon themselves to found a new monthly Steampunk Salon, much like the great Cincinnati Steampunk Salon. Starting with October 2015, the Richmond Steampunk Salon will meet the first Saturday of every month, excluding Jan 2016. This new salon takes place at "New York Deli RVA" a great little bar and restaurant in Richmond's happening Carytown neighborhood. New York Deli is the oldest continuously operating restaurant in Richmond, first founded in 1929 and in its current location since 1936. With a clearly steampunk inspired logo, the owner of New York Deli was ve
Moving to a new state. . .
Hi,
So it's going to be a while before I post any new art. I'm moving next month to a new city and state and the packing and such will be taking up all of my time until then, along with a new job search. Once we get there I'll be setting up the new place and still likely going on with a job search. The new place is going to have an extra bedroom which will become the new crafting and costume room, so that hopefully means I'll be doing more crafting and costuming than I have, once we get settled anyway.

As a side note, I ended up getting second place in the Dueling Pistols design competition.
