Ceramic-Bakelite Steampunk Goggles

The Tek University, going on research first documented by Doctor Leo Bakeland (The poor chap didn't survive long after The Fall) have developed a new set of lightweight yet strong Aetheric Energy (A.E.) detecting goggles. (All goggles made by Clan of Teks scientists and engineers these days include A.E. sensing technology). The new synthetic heat resistant compound envisioned by Leo Bakeland and now perfected by scientists of the Tek University, was the perfect base for our new ceramic goggle apparatus. The right ceramic goggle receiver comes complete with heat dissipation venting, which is necessary to cool the comet particle infused sensing lens. The left goggle doesn't need this cooling apparatus as it only has a tinted glass lens to increase contrast with the sensing lens.

ATTENTION: NOT ACTUALLY CERAMIC OR BAKELITE. These steampunk goggles were made for a friend who's doing a Steampunk Mark Twain cosplay, and he needed something to match his white suit. They are made with your standard 50mm welding goggle. Painted with Vallejo Model Color acrylic paints. The fancy vented lens cover is made from a juice bottle cap. I don't recall the brand. I hope I can find more cause it came out awesome.
